Brand New Off-White™ x Futura Laboratories Nike Dunk Low Orange/Dark Blue

Air Max 270, Ahead of Off-White™‘s Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2020 show later today, Virgil Abloh and Futura have given a first look at an upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration with Futura Laboratories. Announcing the live stream of the show on Instagram, Abloh posted two colorways of the sneaker complete with a number of signature Off-White™ x Nike motifs.Coming in either bold orange with dark blue detailing or “UNC” light blue, the sneaker features a white hang tag, Off-White™ x Nike branding and “SHOELACES”-printed laces, overlaid with hiking-style laces.
Originally unveiled at the Off-White SS20 live stream, this upcoming pair of dunk lows features the unique hiking boot-inspired lace anchor points with orange laces over the traditional sneaker lacing layout with navy laces. The outmost panels along with the Swoosh logo arrive in orange and white, respectively, while the inner panels contain the signature stencil artwork of Futura along with his signature. Co-branding can be seen at the heel in the form of an “FL” logo, on the tongue with a joint NIKE x FL tag, special insole, and side “NIKEDUNKLOW” handstyle.
The Off-White designer is crafting a unique silhouette entirely: the Rubber Dunk. the Off-White x Nike Air Rubber Dunk "Green Strike" combines of classic runners and burgeoning lifestyle mainstays, the model constructs with aggressive, retro-esque paneling atop its upper. Stripes of leather separate vertically from the forefoot backwards, boating a slight polish and horizontal slits all across. Underneath, more matted black mesh adds visual dimension with its adjacent synthetics dosing slight futurism as they outline with the colorway’s vibrant volt green. These shades then make their way over to the overlaid swoosh at the heel — a change from what was revealed during New York Fashion Week — as well as the laces’ Helvetica text, the tongue’s “Nike OFF” branding, and the tooling’s outsole details.
